What is Adobe Illustrator?


Adobe Illustrator is a vector base application. Illustrator is generally used to draw illustrations, cartoons, brouchers, flyers, mobile ui, packaging design, charts and logos.

Not at all like bitmap images that stores data in a grids of dots, Illustrator utilizes mathematical vector equation to draw out the shapes. This makes vector design versatile without the loss of resolution.
